Mission Impossible: A Special Logistics Journey of Air Cargo Across the War Zone

3. The Logistics Journey

The journey began as the trucks carrying the cargo (outdoor power supplies ) departed from the factory in Dongguan. The trip to Ezhou Airport goes smoothly.

Once at the airport, the cargo was moved to the terminal warehouse for palletizing and packaging before the flight..

The cargo was then loaded onto a Boeing 747 freighter, which took off towards Frankfurt, Germany.

After a long journey of over 10 hours and 8,000 kilometers, the plane finally landed smoothly at Frankfurt Airport ( FRA).

With no time to waste, the cargo was swiftly transferred onto trucks and began the 1,000-kilometer journey to Warsaw(WAW), Poland.

The next day, the cargo safely arrived at Warsaw Chopin Airport’s transshipment warehouse. After a brief stop for some adjustments, the cargo embarked on its final leg—the most dangerous part of the journey.

This journey used T1 trucks crossed the Poland- Ukraine border and entered Ukraine.

With the war still ongoing and danger lurking everywhere in Ukraine, we can only imagine what was going through the driver’s mind, but we knew that everyone at NCL was holding their breath.

After nearly 15 hours of anxious waiting, we finally received the news: the cargo had arrived safely, and the mission was fulfilled !
